VIRTUAL REGIONAL RESILIENCE SERIES HELPS BUSINESS NAVIGATE COVID-19
A group of regional economic and business development organizations wrap up a successful first segment of a four-part virtual Regional Resilience series this week. The collaborative project ran its initial eight sessions with a focus on how to navigate resources, tools, and programs available to meet business needs during COVID-19. The biweekly Zoom conferences received interest regionwide, attracting 40 – 85+ registrants per session. Each concentrated on one of the region’s key industries and featured field experts and local business service practitioners providing knowledge and answering questions on the various aid packages and programs available.

Parts 2-4 of the series launched by Community Futures Central Alberta, Access Prosperity, the Central Alberta Regional Innovation Network, MNP, and the Central Alberta Economic Partnership are planned in the coming months. Future sessions will address business needs as the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, focusing on adapting to the new situation, implementing change, and growing to meet the needs of a changed economy.

Thursday, April 30th from 9:45 am until noon is the final session in part 1 of the series and will focus on navigating resources and networks for the healthcare industry. Registration is open to those who work in the industry.
